The Quagmire

The Quagmire describes my mind -- full of random bits of things all stuck together -- these things may include, but are not limited to: music, TV, movies, writing, reading, theatre, politics, religion, whatever.

Anal Psoriasis

Did I mention that FireFox rocks? You NEED to make it your browser of choice. I am falling in love with it. That is today's big news as far as I'm concerned. Oh, and the Sox won. I hate baseball but am glad they beat the curse. I am tired of the damned UF Zook/Spurrier drama.

I am irritated with AOL because they have a dictionary module so you can check spelling BUT it has only one dictionary (US English). I think that's dumb as not all their members prefer to communicate in English (the majority probably do) but how on EARTH is English the only language I can spell check in? I mean, if you're going to have a dictionary feature, for God's sake include US English, Proper (UK/Canada) English, French, and Spanish.

Ah well. There, I've bored you all to tears.

PS: I ate corned beef hash for dinner. And J. Carney is selling blogshares in my blog. Don't ask. Please. I'm sure he'll post a comment in reply to this one day.

Firefox does indeed rock. I only use IE for a few scattered web sites that have IE-specific code (boo! hiss!).

I enjoy BlogShares; I don't claim to be a very good investor. I've done relatively well, but I also had a sort of head start. Soon after I joined BlogShares, one of the top players -- out of the blue -- gave me a bucketload of BlogShares "dollars," several times the stake that you get automatically for signing up. I didn't know her and was a little suspicious of this at first. Later, I found out that, at that time, BlogShares had just been revived after having been dark for several months when its original hosts shut it down. The game was having trouble getting the word out to former players, and I think some of the top players started handing out money just as an encouragement for new people to play.

Anyway, it's fun to play and it's a fun way to run across new blogs.

Check it out.
