One Stop Short of Barking: Favourite Episodes of South Park

Wow. That's a long title. I'm sitting here convalescing and I decided to make a post about my favourite episode of South Park. There's quite a few good ones mixed in with the ones that blow chunks.

My favourite three episodes:
Scott Tennorman Must Die -- a true classic work of art
Xmas #1 -- The introduction of Mr. Hanky. I laughed until I couldn't breathe.
Kenny Dies -- the one where he REALLY dies. A good episode. Funny. And even touching.

I could discuss in detail, but I won't bore you.

Honourable mention:
South Park -- Bigger, Longer, and Uncut

Burn the celluloid:
Towlie -- when he gets introduced not only did the episode suck, the show jumped the shark.

PS: For 20 pence, can anyone correctly explain why I entitled this post the way I did?

Convalescing?

What's the reference in the title?

(1) I was sick and recovering.

(2) Come on, you can't even guess what "One Stop Short of Barking" means? I'll give a clue. It's got two meanings and it's English.

Well, I'm assuming that Barking is a tube or train stop, and that the second meaning describes your closeness to being barking mad. But this is obvious, especially when someone like me knows your tube/transport proclivities. I just don't get the specific reference. I guess I was assuming that there was one...

(1) Barking is, indeed a tube stop.
(2) Barking Mad is an American Expression
(3) "One Stop Short of Barking" is an English Expression.

The post was entitled that way because, well, I was in a Barking mood that day.

I've also been in a "Pink" mood which is a Pink Floyd reference, so get your mind out of the fucking gutter.
