Of course not. However that's the title of this great article. Though amusing, it's also thought-provokingly profound. The odds of this happening in the next few decades are better than the odds that a disgruntled Saudi will sneak onto an airplane and detonate a shoe bomb. And yet our government will spend billions of dollars this year to prevent global terrorism and … well, essentially nothing to prevent global warming. "

Only the very naive are still arguing that the citizens of this planet are busy destroying it. We don't have another home -- we're destroying the place we all have to live. Our current administration has done everything in its power to prevent any change in course, even going so far as to reverse previous administrations efforts to alleviate the current situation.
