Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer

Right, this will be a short review. I saw it. I laughed, sometimes when you probably shouldn't. But I was entertained at least. No better or no worse than the previous installment. The Silver Surfer graphics were Fantastic (heh) and their take on the character was less than faithful but I enjoyed it -- praise considering like most FF fans, I love the Silver Surfer. I just can't get into the Four themselves. This film reminds me of Galaxy Quest in a way: comic booky and sort of self-aware. Not a criticism or kudos, just an observation.

A nice 95 minute way to kill a rainy Saturday afternoon with some popcorn.
