Daniel Radcliffe's Penis Hits The Web (Harry and the Magic Wand)

My God! If I get one more e-mail asking me about Harry Potter's dick I will just scream. Yeah, I made a post about it, but it was not a sexual post. It was a "what is the kid thinking" post and more bemused than anything. I posted a publicity still (tasteful but boring) in a subsequent post. And, as a result, my blog gets tons of hits clearly looking for Harry's penis. The analysis reports I get read like a porn list. I don't even really want these sort of visitors.

If you really want to see The Magic Wand and accompanying Cas, it's out there (poor choice of words) and here's a link so you can see it. I am not posting naked photos of anyone here --ever -- but I'll save you teenaged girls out there the trouble of using Google. It's not very difficult but apparently you're all too thick to figure it out. Really, just go buy a ticket and get your cheap thrills that way.

Radcliffe scared to reveal all to Potter cast

HARRY POTTER star DANIEL RADCLIFFE has begged his cast mates to avoid his hit play EQUUS because he's terrified of them seeing him in the nude. Radcliffe, 17, has been hailed by critics for his performance in the provocative PETER SHAFFER written show, but urged his friends to keep clear of the West End production - much to their relief.

Potter co-star RUPERT GRINT says, "He told us he didn't want us at the play. I was glad because it would be a little weird and uncomfortable to see."

So, if you're in a play don't you think everyone should see it? I think having a whole bunch of strangers seeing me nude would be weird. Why is it weirder to have your co-stars seeing you naked? I wonder if he realizes the scores of young teenage girls are just there to oogle his magic wand. Hypocrite? I dunno, really.

One Hundred Thousand Hits

In the next few days, this blog will record its 100,000th hit since it went live 17 October 2004 -- who could have imagined? That's huge. Traffic has died off over the past year, but that's still an impressive number. It's also terribly misleading.

Most of our traffic is currently driven by the world famous Led Zeppelin Sucks post -- in which I say nothing of the kind. They've directed over 30,000 of those hits. Those users do look around the blog a bit after posting their flames, most of which I don't even release anymore.

The next largest chunk comes from that damned Crazy Frog or Coldplay posts (there are two 1 and 2). Those visitors are worthless and they also account for around 30,000 hits, but for awhile it was sending nearly 75% of our traffic until Yahoo stopped listing us first. They come, read, and leave on the provided links, so it's not quality traffic. They aren't even nice enough to click on one of my Google Adsense Ads. Laugh, but those pennies can add up, and I always appreciate anyone who helps support our site. But ultimately, this isn't about the money because I haven't made any yet :)

The rest of the traffic is mysterious. I analyze my blog traffic regularly and there's no real pattern. I always hope some of the visitors tell me why they came but I get very few comments aside from the aforementioned Led Zeppelin Sucks post, which is a magnet of sorts for comments -- not all intelligent.

I thought my random post about the nude Harry Potter pictures would garner traffic, and they did but very little. Amazingly my post on Terry Goodkind's Phantom have generated some nice traffic -- by that I mean quality traffic, the people who stay and look around. Some of these folks even go to my website.

Google Analytics and Stat Counter are very useful, though for most sites Stat Counter is better suited. The Google Analytics page is more practical for corporate sites as it's pretty complex and overly complex.

Harry Potter Actor Now Naked on Stage (with photo)

In a previous post, I reported that Daniel Radcliffe was going to be naked in a new play. I made lots of jokes about Harry Potter and his magic wand. Etc. Well, he's off and done it now. Previews are beginning soon and he's posing for ads. I am amused. I am sure every teenage girl, upon seeing this photo, will run and buy a ticket. I predict this pedantic play will be a runaway success until Harry, um I mean Daniel, moves on to a new project, at which time it will close as everyone immediately loses all interest.

NEW YORK - "Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe, who strips for his new role in London's West End revival of the play "Equus," has ignited a bit of a media firestorm by posing for racy promotional photos for the production.

The Tony-Award-winning drama tells the story of a stable-hand who has an erotic fixation with horses. In one photo, Radcliffe, 17, dares to bare it all alongside a white horse; in another, he is pictured with a naked Joanna Christie, the actress who portrays his girlfriend.

"Equus," directed by Thea Sharrock, opens at London's Gielgud Theater on Feb. 27. Tony Award-winning actor Richard Griffiths plays a pyschiatrist who treats Radcliffe's character.

"Part of me wants to shake up people's perception of me, just shove me in a blender," Radcliffe said in a recent interview with Newsweek magazine.

"It's a really challenging play, and if I can pull it off - we don't know if I can yet - I hope people will stop and think, 'Maybe he can do something other than Harry,'" he said.

Radcliffe, who was discovered seven years ago in the audience of a London theater, reprises his role as the bespectacled boy wizard in "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," slated for release July 13.

A whole slew of official pictures are here. Watch out world. Here comes Mr. Radcliffe, the courageous. Not many seventeen year-olds would get naked on a stage for all the world to see. How long before illicit mobile phone photos of the Magic Wand proliferate. Please do not send me any -- I don't want to see.

And another thought: can you imagine the scandal in this country if an under-18 decided to appear naked on a stage everyday for money?

Naked Teens On Parade (Solved)

Previously in the Quagmire I discussed Naked Teens On Parade which didn't generate a lot of traffic. Yet here I am motivated to post a follow up story. Apparently, and I think it's a good decision, the tiny town has decided to let nature be in charge. If the kids want to be naked, the town just isn't going to do anything. I'm pretty sure that will be the end of it. If you're curious about the official ruling, read it here.

Naked Teens On Parade

Amazingly, this is not a shameless ploy to get people to read my blog. With such a title you might actually imagine such a thing. This post is as sexually titillating as a visit to the nude beach with Nancy Reagan.

I saw this post in Rob's blog, followed it to the article, and read it. At first was I was shocked (shocked, I tell you!) and then realized I just didn't care. I'm glad I don't live in this town because seeing a bunch of naked strangers really doesn't do much for me.

Seriously, if you're a reader of this blog, I'd love to know why a teenager would go around naked. Would you go around naked assuming it were legal where you lived? Would you do it if you were the only one, or is this something that one finds courage in groups? Most teens I've known over the years would rather die than parade around naked in public (or should that be pubic?)

Wow, now there's news I never expected unlike yesterday's non-news that N-sync's Lance Bass is gay. I mean anyone who didn't see that coming is dumber than President Bush.

Not that I have plans to go see this play, 'cause I'm not sure I have any interest in it, what with killing critters and such. But can you imagine the throngs of teenage girls lined up to see Harry's wand in all its glory. I'm sure the boy wizard will work magic on them and have a horde outside the stage door after every performance. It will be an event where all his fans can come together.

I find it a bit odd that any teenager would want to be on stage naked, though. Anything to get laid I suppose. Daniel Radcliffe is either brave or stupid, or perhaps a bit of both. Can any teens out there shed light on this?

LONDON - Daniel Radcliffe will strip off his Harry Potter eyeglasses and robes for his London stage debut next year.

The 17-year-old actor, who plays the bespectacled schoolboy wizard in the Hollywood adaptations of J.K. Rowling's novels, will star as a troubled stableboy in Peter Shaffer's "Equus."

The play delves into the psyche of a boy named Alan Strang who blinds six horses with a metal spike. The production is scheduled to open next March in the West End theater district, said spokesman Peter Thompson.

"It is an extraordinary play, and he's very much looking forward to the role," Radcliffe's spokeswoman, Vanessa Davies, said Friday. "He is maturing as an actor and beginning to take on new and challenging roles."

In one scene the actor playing Strang is required to simulate sexual ecstasy while riding a horse naked. But Davies said nudity was not the focus of the play.

Radcliffe is now filming "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," the fifth installment in Harry's adventures, and recently finished shooting "December Boys," the story of four orphans who compete for adoption.
